Born in the Rust Belt of Cleveland, Ohio, Bill Farkas began his professional music career at age 14 after studying guitar with the legendary jazz guitarist, John Stebal, from the age of 5. He shared Northern Ohio stages with other “young” artists in the 60’s: Joe Walsh (Eagles), Benjamin Orr (Cars), and Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders). He continued his music career while majoring in political science at Hiram College and doing graduate work at Kent State University.
